Transparent by default
Every test runs in front of the person being tested. If you can't see it, we shouldn't be doing it.
About Sutram
We bring clinical-grade blood screening to the last Indian mile. The test runs where you are, while you watch, and the report is in your hand before you leave.
Who we are
Sutram is a health screening initiative built for the places a lab never reaches: the village past the last bus stop, the night shift on the factory floor, the government school two hours from the nearest city.
We set up a full camp on the spot. One finger prick, a portable analyser, a printed report in minutes, and a doctor on hand. Then we come back, so every test becomes part of a history instead of a one-time number.
The name is the idea. A thread is continuous, it connects, and it doesn't break. That's what we want healthcare to feel like for every Indian, wherever they live.
Why we exist
In the usual camp, a sample goes into a vial, the vial goes into a box, and the box goes to a lab somewhere else. Days later a report arrives, if it arrives. And a quiet question sits with every family: is this really mine?
"is this even my report?"
"I saw it happen."
What we stand for
Every test runs in front of the person being tested. If you can't see it, we shouldn't be doing it.
The lab goes to people, not the other way around. A school ground, a canteen or a panchayat hall is enough.
A camp isn't a photo op. Success is the person who walks away understanding their health, and comes back better.
Results in minutes, follow-up the same day, and a record that grows with every visit.
Every device we use in the field carries regulatory approval, so a test at a village camp is held to the same standard as one in a city lab.
The change we're working for
We want the most transparent, decentralised health screening in the country, reaching the very last Indian mile. And every drop we test makes a difference at three levels.
From screening to understanding
National health data is often years old by the time anyone acts on it. Each Sutram camp adds fresh readings, so the picture keeps up with reality: anaemia in one district, rising blood sugar in another, malaria after the rains.
People first, always. Insights are shared only as anonymised, aggregated data. No one's personal report ever leaves their hands without their consent.

We started in Maharashtra and we're just getting going. If you run a school, a workplace or a village programme anywhere in India, let's bring the camp to your people.
